An Ombudsman is independent, impartial and neutral. The Ombudsman's function is to act as an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) office for the AALHA community regarding a decision, action or inaction. The purpose of the office is to ensure that the members of the AALHA community have been treated fairly. Come find out how an Ombudsman can advocate for you and how they support the assisted living homes community.

Two important legisltaive updates will also be addressed at this meeting:
  • HB2260
  • SB 1291 AALHA SUPPORTS IT! This bill states that anyone who renders first aid to a fallen person is not held liable for damages as long as the assistance rendered was in good faith.
