Welcome! We’re thrilled to share our first blog post and hope you’ll interact with us regularly by sharing questions, ideas, and helpful feedback.
But first – we know you have many good questions. So, let’s start a dialogue where we answer your questions about Arizona Assisted Living Homes Association (AALHA) and how we can help you.
We’ll even make it easy and start with a few common questions.
If your loved one can no longer stay in his or her home, one question that you may have is:
Can AALHA help me in my search for an assisted living home?
Absolutely! We’re here to make your search less stressful. We’re a non-profit, non-competitive organization of assisted living home owners. In fact, we’re the only organization in Arizona that truly unites assisted living home owners with each other, the government, related vendors and the general public.
Our members are state-licensed assisted living home owners. They provide personalized care in a home-like atmosphere where residents enjoy a sense of privacy and independence. You’ll find peace of mind in that trained and compassionate staff members are nearby to assist with medical care and activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, dressing and eating. Residents are treated with dignity, and freedom of choice is encouraged.
So, visit our website to find a wealth of information and resources along with a full state-wide member directory. Don’t forget to read our
Frequently Asked Questions and print out a copy of our
consumer checklist!
If you own or manage an assisted living home or work as an industry vendor, one question that you may have is:
Can AALHA help my business?
Without a doubt! Consider us to be an important resource, a valued liaison, and a strong professional association that is here to help you understand legislation, provide networking opportunities, ramp up your marketing efforts, and much more!
You’ll find our benefits outlined on our website, but truly, the best way to understand how we can help you is to talk to our members. Come to our monthly meetings, or if you are based in a different part of the state, reach out to our members via phone and ask them about the value of joining AALHA.
What questions do you have? Remember, there are no silly questions – so ask away!
