Arizona Assisted Living Homes Association (AALHA) is a non-profit, non-competitive organization of assisted living home owners. In fact, we’re the only organization in Arizona that truly unites assisted living home owners with each other, the government, related vendors and the general public. In this section of our website you can meet our Board, review our bylaws and read our code of ethics.

The AALHA Philosophy of Care    It is the assisted living philosophy that sets it apart from traditional health care.   The cornerstone of this philosophy is to provide the level of care and assistance  required to enhance quality of life and provide a safe environment while at the same  time, seeking to maximize independence.  To this end, AALHA homes strive to:          Provide a safe residential environment          Offer care tailored to individual needs          Promote individuality and independence          Treat  residents with dignity and respect          Include family and/or friends in care planning          Protect  the residents right to privacy          Nurture the residents spirit          Strive to be a valuable community asset

Our members are state-licensed assisted living home owners. They provide personalized care in a home-like atmosphere where residents can enjoy a sense of privacy and independence.

They also offer the peace of mind to residents and loved ones that trained and compassionate caregivers are nearby to assist as needed with medical care, and with day-to-day activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing and eating. Residents are treated with dignity, and freedom of choice is encouraged.
